This five-star resort of white stucco buildings, soaring ~ Moorish arches, whitewashed domes, parapets, and turrets will have you believing that you're at some Moroccan oasis. The resort is as visually enchanting as it is elegantly romantic and perhaps this explains why it is one of the most photographed resorts in the world.
Cap Juluca is situated on a 180-acre peninsula on its own sheltered bay that looks out to St. Martin. Lush tropical gardens surround the luxurious beachfront property.
There are seventy-one guest accommodations that are ~-a romantic's fantasy. Each of the two-story villas contains three to four guest quarters apiece and all offer a very private setting thanks to some thoughtful landscaping. Guest rooms have a large sitting area, bedroom, dressing area, and bath.
Step up to the suites, and the list of amenities expands significantly. For instance, junior suites have large sitting areas, and a separate marbled bathroom with tub for two complete with terry-cloth pillows. These same bathrooms also feature a glass-walled walk-through shower which opens to a walled solarium suitable for air drying or tanning au naturel. In addition, you'll find terry-cloth robes, a king-sized bed on a dais, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, refrigerator, and icemaker. Make your way through the sliding doors and you'll find yourself standing on a private covered seaside patio. There's even a complimentary bottle of rum awaiting you on arrival and Godiva chocolates on the pillows at turndown service. Breakfast arrives on your patio each morning at the time you designate.
Larger suites have one to five bedrooms with varying amenities such as a private pool, full kitchen, dining atrium, and oceanview dining terrace.
Guests can also take a dip in the resort's freshwater pool or enjoy the spa and workout room.
Cap Juluca is a romantic's dream!
