The Blue Quail Inn changed its name to Secret Garden Inn & Cottages a few years back and, given the inn's setting, the new name is very appropriate. Hidden away behind high hedges and romantic gardens with fragrant jasmine, Secret Garden Inn's complex of five bungalows offers an intimate and private locale for couples visiting the Santa Barbara area Each bungalow has a flavor all its own. The Wood Thrush cottage features large wicker arm chairs and there's luxurious French linens on the king-sized bed. Another avian-named offering is the Cardinal suite which is outfitted with a wicker bed, rich fabrics in stripes and paisleys, and botanical prints. The Kingfisher, Oriole, and Nightingale rooms and suites have been recently renovated, each with a unique luxurious touch that ranges from a hot tub to a private deck.
