Hidden away in its own private world of lush jungle and gardens lies Hotel & Beach Club El Parador. El Parador offers romantics a unique combination: Pacific beaches and rainforest. These beautiful pristine beaches back into the rainforest of Manuel Antonio Park. Manuel Antonio's flora and fauna serve as a stage for an abundance of wildlife, most notably monkeys whose chatter fills this lush amphitheater. In addition to the beach and jungle, El Parador can arrange for other activities including sport fishing, white-water rafting, sea kayaking, and even romantic sunset sails.
Back at the hotel, you'll find a collection of fifty-five rooms ranging from standard rooms to the palatial Presidential Suite. Since romance is key, it's best to avoid the standard room and opt for a deluxe room or junior suite. The deluxe rooms are a bit larger than the standard and feature the added luxury of verandas, refrigerators, and tubs. The junior suites enjoy prime views of both the ocean and jungle and offer such luxuries as bathrobes and marble baths with Jacuzzi. If you're in the mood to splurge, reserve the Presidential Suite. Actually more of a house, this enormous living compound features three bedrooms, wet bar, dining room, office, kitchen, and leather furnishings.
No matter which room you choose, the most romantic spot at the resort is the infinity pool. At sunset, don your swimsuit, grab a seat at the swim-up bar, order a drink, and enjoy the sunset as the sounds of the jungle increase with the impeding darkness. It's an experience that's somewhat primitive, but extremely romantic.
