Enclosed by a sixty-foot wall with outlooks and massive fortified gateways is the enchanting Amberly Castle. These features make Amberly unique, but are not the only special assets of this magical abode. Amberly's fifteen bedrooms are wondrous in their own right. Individually decorated, they feature whirlpool baths and either four-poster or brass beds. Despite being over 900 years old, the castle's public rooms are warm and cozy even with the presence of armor and pikestaffs. Dinner is taken in the Queens Room restaurant which features a beautiful mural of Catherine of Braganza. Chef Sam Mahoney creates inspired dishes based on carefully researched old English recipes.
