Set in secluded private grounds seven miles south of the historic city of Oxford is Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. Its rural countryside setting forms the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds' charming villages or visiting Blenheim Palace.
Understated elegance describes the atmosphere at Le Manoir. All nineteen bedrooms, spread throughout the main house and the converted stables, deliver comfort and luxury. Fresh-cut flowers and attractive, antique furniture fill every room, while some even have their own terraced garden.
Gardens surround the 15th century manor house. Immaculately cared for, the gardens give the grounds an elegant texture. Most importantly, the walled garden out-side the kitchen yields fresh herbs and vegetables for the award-winning restaurant.
The manor's proprietor Raymond Blanc and head chef Jonathan Wright oversee the kitchen. Blanc, whose role in the kitchen is that of executive chef, began the hotel's culinary tradition of excellence, and Wright sees to it that this tradition is maintained. The flavor-infused dishes use only the freshest products prepared with precise techniques. As a result, guests are rewarded with delicious meals, served by a gracious staff in a romantic setting.
