Thornbury Castle- Thornbury, England

My downfall: those pink articulate lips
Divinely flavored petals to a mouth
Where soul dissolves. . . eyes darting
Beneath black brows, snares for the heart,
And the milk-white breasts, well shaped,
The twin rosebuds, fair and beyond other flowers.

Experience a sliver of England's rich history at Thornbury Castle. In 1511, Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham, began construction on his castle, but ten years later he was beheaded for treason. The castle was never completed but parts of it were livable and hosted the likes of Mary Tudor. Henry VIII stayed here with Anne Boleyn.
Today Thornbury Castle welcomes guests to stay in one of its eighteen rooms and dine at its magnificent restaurants. Stylish fabrics decorate the spacious rooms filled with carved canopy-beds and offering views overlooking the vineyard and England's oldest Tudor garden. Downstairs you can relax by a fireplace in one of the many candlelit salons or enjoy a delicious meal created by Chef Steven Black. Black, now regarded as one of England's best, takes care in preparing his meals and it shows.
Nearby you'll find the lovely seaside town of Bristol. England's first resort town offers numerous shops and a not too shabby nightlife during the high season.
