The heart of the Four Seasons Jimbaran is its collection of 147 villas. Each thatched roof villa covers 2, 100 square feet and features every luxury imaginable. You enter your villa through a pair of carved Balinese doors. Stepping stones are surrounded by shining green pebbles and lead to your own private plunge pool overlooking the bay. Next to the pool, a dragon fountain drowns out any sounds-not that there are many. Also outside is a lovely bamboo-pipe shower, where you can take a nighttime bath beneath the stars, and you need not to worry about privacy since the other three sides of your compound are surrounded by a high wall. Inside the villa, you'll find a bathroom with a large marble soaking tub and separate shower. Living and dining areas overlook the pool and encourage generous use of the hotel's excellent room service. The bedroom features a peaked bamboo ceiling and soft, luxurious linens. If you find reason to leave your bungalow, you can enjoy a number of activities at the resort. Due to its size, Four Seasons Jimbaran offers golf-cart taxis to whisk you from one end of the resort to the other. The beach features the typical array of water sports while the dramatic pool is fed by a twenty-foot waterfall. Golfers can tee up at a nearby course. If you tire of eating in your villa, the resort boasts three excellent restaurants that are open to the breezes and overlook the bay.
