Bad Rock Country Bed and Breakfast- Columbia Falls, Montana
Believe me, if all those endearing young charms,
Which I gaze on so fondly to-day,
Were to change by to-morrow, and fleet in my arms,
Like fairy-gifts fading away,
Thou wouldst still be adored, as this moment thou art,
Let thy loveliness fade as it will,
And around the dear ruin each wish of my heart
Would entwine itself verdantly still.
Located in the Flat Head Valley and set on thirty acres of rolling Montana paradise, the Bad Rock Country Bed and Breakfast is the perfect romantic stop for guests exploring northwest Montana. Innkeepers Jon and Sue Alper have created an elegant inn in the style of early Montana country living that earned the inn a "Top Twelve Inns" award in 1995 from Country Inns magazine. Spectacular views of the Swan Mountain range of the Rockies can be seen from a number of perspectives.
Bad Rock Country Bed and Breakfast offers lodging in either the main house or in the two newly constructed log buildings. The master bedroom in the main house features a queen bed, a full bath with a tub/shower, and a balcony which looks out to the west for a magnificent view of the sunsets. There are two other bedrooms on the upper level of the main house with a bath located across the hail. The bedroom on the lower level offers a queen bed, bath with steam shower, and garden and sunset views.
You'll also find a stocked refrigerator with soft drinks and fruit juices in the television room of the main house. The great room has a bay window which looks out onto the Swan Mountains, and the dining room is decorated with 1890s furniture.
Each log building contains two stunning guest rooms with private entrances, private baths, and gas log fireplaces. The interiors of these guest rooms feature beautiful handmade lodgepole pine furniture.
Outdoor activities are limitless in this part of Montana. Guests are only twenty minutes from fishing, rafting, and hiking, from the towns of Whitefish and Kalispell, and from Glacier National Park. Before you leave for the day, consider making a reservation for time in the relaxing hot tub upon your return.
