Honeymoon Vacations

Four Seasons Hotel- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Hither with crystal vials, lovers come,
And take my tears, which are love's wine,
And try your mistress' tears at home,
For all our false, that taste not just like mine;
Alas, hearts do not in eyes shine,
Now can you more judge woman's thoughts by tears,
Than by her shadow, what she wears.
O perverse sex, where none is true but she,
Who's therefore true, because her truth kills me.

Often overwhelmed by its sister cities along the Atlantic coast, Philadelphia is an unappreciated gem. The cultural attractions are world-class, with an excellent art museum and one of the best orchestras in the world. Center City has a dynamic nightlife, and the residential neighborhoods of Society Hill and Rittenhouse Square offer an elegant respite from urban stress. You can visit the many historic sights, including the Liberty Bell, or enjoy the latest novelties in cuisine or entertainment. As W.C. Fields once said, "On the whole, I'd rather be in Philadelphia."
And the best place to stay in Philadelphia is the Four Seasons Hotel. There are 365 rooms in this massive hotel, including ninety-six executive suites. The suites provide a sleeping area that is separated from the sitting area by French doors. There are only six parlor suites. The room decor blends contemporary fabrics with Federal-style furniture. The Presidential Suite has a large marble bath with a whirlpool.
Candles and fresh flowers decorate the tables in the Fountain Restaurant. Live music plays during tea and on weekend evenings, and ranges from classical to jazz. After dinner, go for a romantic walk to the Swann Fountain in nearby Logan Square. Viennese dessert buffet is served on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. in the morning. In addition to enjoying delectable pastries and sinful desserts, you can dance to the trio playing in the Swann Lounge.
The Four Seasons offers a Suite Romance package. The king-sized bed is turned down and dressed with a soft white sheet and comforter. A single long-stemmed rose lies upon the lace boudoir pillow. Champagne is served and a room-service breakfast is on order for the morning after.
