Queen Elizabeth 2, romance cruises

If I stare at you, driving slate seas, it is because I want to draw from you all your loveliness into my own face.

The Queen Elizabeth 2, flagship of the Cunard cruise line, stands as the lone survivor of grand style of ocean travel. When other cruise lines launch new luxury ships, it is the QE2 they are trying to imitate. Yet, in many ways, they never will succeed. The new ultra-luxury yachts lack the QE2's more economic levels of service, and thus only those with a deep wallet can experience them. This leads to a rather homogenous mix of clientele that gives them a feeling of a floating country club. Not on the QE2. The QE2 is a floating city with all of its wonderful color and diversity.
Another unique aspect of the QE2 is its itinerary; it's the only ship to provide regularly scheduled transatlantic service. Thus you'll be able to cruise the waters of the Atlantic in style and enjoy its full majesty. From January to April, the QE2 rounds the world.
As previously mentioned, the QE2 offers several choices when it comes to how much money you wish to spend. Since the levels of service differ between transatlantic and transworld itineraries, reserving a cabin can become a bit confusing. As general rule, first class is always safest; you'll enjoy the spaciousness of your cabin. But if you feel like saving some money, simply ask the following question: "Will that category of service allow me to dine in the Queen's Grill?" If the answer is, "No," then choose something more expensive~ for cruising on the QE2 and not dining at the Queen's Grill is like going to the top of the Eiffel Tower but not looking out over Paris. Also, while you're on board, be sure to make use of the Steiner Health Spa, the world's first sea-based full-service spa.
